These are the dates and requirements you need to enter the ranks of the National Navy

The Colombian Navy sent a press release in which it is summoning all young people over 18 years of age and under 23 years and 11 months who have not yet defined their military situation, to provide their military service in the Naval Institution at no cost as Bachelor and Regular Marines.
The authority urges those interested to live an experience that will forge their character and make them grow as good people and citizens, with the main objective being to defend sovereignty, independence, integrity of the national territory and the constitutional order.

During military service, young people are guaranteed food, health, accommodation, clothing, welfare, training and a monthly financial bonus corresponding to 30 per cent of a current legal monthly minimum wage.
"On July 29, 30, August 3 and 04, 2022, the Colombian Navy will hold a free psychophysical fitness assessment day for young people who wish to serve in the military as a Marine. The activity will take place from 7 a. m. in the District of Incorporation No2, Transversal 52 Diagonal 17 – 150, El Bosque neighborhood, Manzanillo sector, entrance Naval School of Cadets 'Almirante Padilla', "says the invitation.
Lieutenant Luis Carlos Marenco Suárez, Commander of the Incorporation District No2 Cartagena, said that this is a great opportunity for young people to start a good life project. In addition to training and preparing in an integral way, they will be able to serve their country with pride and satisfaction, providing military service voluntarily, under the principles and values of the Colombian Navy.

For the day of the call they must bring the citizenship card, copy of the identity document, if it is a bachelor carry a copy of the diploma, copy of the COVID-19 vaccination card, and if it is your fragrant carry a copy of the certification, be dressed in a white jean and sweater.
- Being Colombian by birth
- Be single, not live in a free union.
- Not having children.
- Be between 18 and 23 years 11 months old at admission.
- Not be an only child (being an only child, you must bring an authorization document
by your guardian or legal representative with signature and fingerprint).
- Not having defined the military situation.
- Not be demobilized accredited by the Colombian Agency for the
Reintegration.
- Not belong to indigenous councils certified by the Ministry of the Interior.
- Not be a victim of the armed conflict and/or registered in the Single Registry of Victims
(RUV).
- Have passed at least fifth year of primary school (for Regular Marine).
- Have passed 11 degrees (for Marine Bachelor).
- Not be a citizen conscientious objector.
