아르헨티나 해병대 The Amphibious Assault Boat Operator Course was developed

Ushuaia – The Assault Boat Section of the Marine Infantry Battalion No. 4 (BIM4) taught the Amphibious Assault Boat Operator Course in the Peninsula Annex area and on the beaches of Rio Grande. The course was taught by First Warrant Officer IM Mario Alberto Oviedo and his team of instructors.

During the teaching of the course, theoretical classes were offered in the classroom throughout the first two weeks; and then, in the following weeks, carry out practical activities in the waters of the Beagle Channel, on the coasts of the city of Ushuaia.

The various tasks performed by the students included day/night navigation with wake tracking, both coastal and offshore; turning of boats and recovery of man to the water; embarkation and disembarkation of surface units; embiques on beaches day and night; and combat formations. Finally, an exercise was carried out with the Marine Infantry Battalion No. 5 Ec. on the beaches of Rio Grande, where all the concepts acquired in the instruction were applied to carry out the embarkations and landings of the personnel.

In this regard, Petty Officer Oviedo commented: "All the students showed a high academic performance evidenced in the practices of navigation, operation and maintenance of the means demonstrating their professionalism, dedication, sense of belonging and teamwork."

These instructions are important to maintain the training and training of the Marines belonging to the Southern Marine Infantry, since they enable them to perform various maneuvers from the surface units or from the coast, with the knowledge to perform correctly in various tactical situations.
