Batteries – The Amphibious Vehicle Battalion No. 1 (BIVH) and the Marine Infantry Battalion No. 2 (BIM2) carried out during the week various training activities in amphibious techniques, in the area of Baliza Chica.
The Amphibious Combat Vehicle Company, which made a mechanized march from its seat in BIVH to the coastal area of Batteries, and the BIM2 Shooters Company, which marched on foot to meet the mechanized elements, participated.
They exercised in embarkation and disembarkation techniques, tracked vehicles and mechanized movements, in addition to practicing ship-to-shore movement and assault operations on the coastline.
Individual training on the COIE tracks
Units under the Marine Force of the Sea Fleet (FAIF) were trained during the week in individual amphibious combat techniques.
It was in the various tracks of the Marine Corps Instruction and Evaluation Command (COIE), at the Marine Corps Base Batteries.
